Aurora Expedition itinerary - aboard the Sylvia Earle

 

There's unlikely to be WiFi for most of the adventure, so you'll have to be patient for news and photos. 

21 December arrive in Ushuaia, Argentina. 

22 December - embark and take on the Drake Passage (yikes)

25-28 December Antarctic Peninsular - Merry Christmas indeed 🥳🥳

29-30 December - Scotia Sea

31 Dec to 4 January - South Georgia  (Happy New Year and penguins!)

7 - 8 Jan - Falklands-Malvinas

10 January - disembark Ushuaia

 

  

We are travelling on the Sylvia Earle - maximum PAX 132.

When not 'at sea' there are generally landings or zodiac excursions twice a day.  We might be able to sneak in 3 a day every now and then as we will be enjoying the Midnight Sun 24 hours of daylight for most of the trip.

Sam will also be snorkelling (!) at every opportunity.  

I will limit myself to zodiac excursions, short walks and hundreds of photos - rotator cuff recovery permitting.

My photos will be mobile phone only this trip 😒  I can't support my camera weight with the less-than-right arm.  Still, challenge accepted!
